To shine more Light into a darkening world.

Sonshine Penguin is a nom de plume and nickname I use on the web.

Sonshine is for the Light of the world, the Son of God.
Penguin is for the Linux mascot, as I am a big fan of both Linux and penguins.

I am a disciple of Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God.

The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want, He provides all I need.

Then I said, “I will not make mention of Him,
Nor speak anymore in His name.”
But His word was in my heart like a burning fire
Shut up in my bones;
I was weary of holding it back,
And I could not.
Jeremiah 20:9 (NKJV)

I am not even slightly religious. . .
. . . except maybe in my love/hate relationship with computers!
Then I can be most adamant!

Jesus said,
Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
(Matthew 11:28-30 KJV; colour added to mark Jesus’ words.)

And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
(Matthew 28:18-20 KJV
; colour added to mark Jesus’ words.)

As time passes this site will shift its Biblical focus to the Authorised Version or King James Version only, as it is our belief that this version accurately preserved the Word of God in the English language. Though it seems difficult to read at first, it does explain the meanings of almost all the words in the text within the context or in other places where these words are used. It is like a built-in dictionary. Often a repeated phrase is there to define or explain the text to make it more clear.
